Questionnaire floor

i asked a question in my questionnaire "breifly describe yours or your parent's job?" the bit in the question about your parents was aimed at the 16-18 yr olds who would be taking the questionnaire however some people in the 35 - 45 yr olds gave there parents which means that my question was not clear enough however i know the peoples job so i can get away with this and still know their social class.

i have come to a dead end in my research for defining social class as i release that i should of done more research before composing the questionnaire as i havn't been able to ask some questionsthat could be usefulin definning the social class.Hopefully though i stillwill be able to just not as clear.

I have redrafted my questionnaire to make sure the questions are relevent. Then i have made 15 copies of the questionnaire then handed it to a six form form for them to fill out. After seeing the results of the questionnaire i will then design a focus group to gather more research on the matter.

I went through some drafts of my questionnaire with Mr Lacy i got ideas on what needs changing and how to make my questionnaire more practical and i have used a varity of types of question because in my last one i didnt and i unfairly recieved a red mark :( i am trying to find out about how social class, gender and age effect what films you like.

from lookimng at certain peieces of research I have discovered a link between sexual behaviour and your social class forexample it is proven if you are of a poorer class you are more likely to enagage in underage sex

in am at the moment favouring the idea of media influences on youths this ia because it connects all the ideas i have together. i feel it is a serious issue and i will be able to do a lot about it. i feel it will be relivent as it is an issue concerning parents.
